If you are going for a tv, look at the manufacturers who offer a 5 year guarantee straight out if the box. There is a reason tv.s are ridiculously cheap. I cant remember the manufacturers, samsung and lg?? Maybe?
Many manufacturers offer 5 promotional warranties from time to time, but the 1 year warranty remains the standard manufacturers warranty and the remaing 4 years by a third party such as D&G. Richer Sounds offer 6 years as standard on many TV’s, which are repaired by TV enginerrs not washing machine repairers. Costco offers 5yrs across most of its electricals.
Samsung don’t make LCD panels and rely on third parties such as TCL
