I was lucky enough to use this section as my local VW dealer was offering £400 off the AP which we got off our new Tiguan some years ago. Im hoping to to use this section again with our new order in couple of months time. However, I notice nearly all the offers are, for example the dealers ads are quoting the discounts only apply to all orders taken in Feb and delivered by March end. How can we order in Feb AND then take delivery in March with our three month order restrictions. I’m guessing we must not order the first month of our three month window to get the discount?
You don’t have to order as soon as your ‘order window’ opens (3 months before your current lease end).
However some people who are, for example, set on a particular vehicle place an order immediately the window opens, or if it is near the end of a quarter do it to ensure AP price certainty.
Alternatively, you can hang around a bit before ordering and see what offers come up nearer to your lease end.
It is totally your choice.
The special offers with short lead times are usually stock or ‘in the pipeline’ vehicles though. But if you are not tied to colour or optional extras etc, you can make quite a saving.
