Check if your car has a USB-C port next to the rear view mirror. Then you’ll be able to plug a dashcam into that using the included cable and just set the dashcam to automatically shutdown unless movement is detected. It’s powered by the car only when the ignition is on so it won’t flatten the battery.
That’s what I do with my ŠKODA.
