Is it by any chance a Hyundai? They are the masters of nanny statery. Ours bings and bongs continually and drives me ruddy mad, especially as I’ve no idea what half of them are for!
It absolutely is, Ioniq 5. It’s bad enough when it warms me about the car that’s right in front or the bloody twigs sticking out the hedge. 😡
…And when it slams on the brakes, you can’t quickly move the car pretentending nothing has happened, because it holds onto the brakes for a few seconds. Yup been there done that. I now have the steering wheel set to vibrate and forwatds/reverse emergency breaking set to warn only. Whils’t the cars still screams at you, it doesn;t give you whiplash!
I’ve got it set for vibrate and warning, I got none of that though, just bang on the brakes.
Ummm yes my BMW did this to me last week. I though I had hit something. No just decided to stop me dead in reverse. Was the hedge at the Dr’s. I’ll drive in next time. No whiplash though due to uber BMW seat.
Yeah, we’re not allowed uber BMW seating anymore. 😡
