i agree, i have put in a request for an outside socket either self funded or for them to install.rykneld are quite good and i think they may insist on their own sparks doing stuff. i think it would be relatively simple as all they would have to do is drill through one wall and lay cables less than a foot from the fusebox/meter through the wall and then as much cable as needed to locate. they could actually literally put it where they drill through.
