We heat up our PHEV remotely on the cold morning, nice to get into a nice warm car, no demisting, no defrosting.
Does it take any miles off the range doing that ?
It does indeed. Unless you’re plugged in and it is not 07:00AM yet, then when the battery drops below 100% it will be automatically topped up.
Both BEV and PHEV (at least Mazda CX 60) use the battery for the pre-heating
