    in my veiw its all about personal circumstances.

    can you charge at home overnight or not, if your still working and commuting and doing more mileage then home charging has to be available otherwise the rnning costs are too high.

    if like me its low mileage short journies then something like once a week 20-80% at a public charger isnt too onerous to build into your schedule nor prohibitaviley expensive.

    but they are not for everyone and i think the govt will have to kick the can further and further down the road unless they address the charger issue and sort the infrastructure out.

    for me they are just another option available to me somewhere before phev and deisel but behind hybrid and petrol.
