We’ve had an EV for 18 months, I agree with kdwolf, I wouldn’t bother if you can’t charge from home. 125 miles a week would require 2 or 3 charges a month, especially in the colder months. It’s nice to have the latest technology, but you have to think practically. 55p per kw at Dobbies is not expensive but it’s also not cheap. Realistically you need to be charging for under 35p ish (I’m sure someone has worked out the exact figure) to make it cheaper than ICE.
