KIA have a really annoying habit of putting certain features in the GT Line S models regardless of the size of car. To have an electric tailgate and HUD, you’re stuck with one model per car. In the good old days you’d have spec increases as you climb through the sizes of car, the Escort would have, say, electric front windows at medium spec and all round at top, the Mondeo would start with electric front windows and would be offering all four powered quite quickly. When you look at Motability’s APs for these, it means that the car you’re most likely to want will be quite an advanced model just because you need the relative basics for disabled people.
