Labour will be awakward and delay changing course f0r as long as they can, but will understand the risk to the UK if it chose to proceed alone.
Should a UK stick to a 2030 deadline, many UK car manufacturers that export a large portion of their output to continental markets could face serious difficulties. They might be forced to operate dual-track production lines: one for EVs to satisfy domestic rules and another to produce petrol/diesel or hybrid cars for export. This is because the EU is our biggest export market fo new cars 60% and the EU remains are largest import markets for new cars c.70%.
However, I don’t expect Labour to change anything too quickly, arguing sticking to the path is the right choice💰, but it will ultimately have to give way and it will be someone elses fault!
I have been watching Bad-enoch for sometime now and she is nothing more than an “opposite” noddy dog who just say the opposite for politic points, rather than have any thought wats shes agreeing to!
