A very sensible move. Let the market determine the pace of the switch to EVs, rather than arbitrary targets which consumers refuse to follow and results in an adverse effect on the whole market – and the economy. The only issue is that the Conservatives don’t stand any chance of forming the next government, other than in a coalition with Reform UK. However, the way that this government is going, that is a very real possibility!
