I have a reply! And he has not read one word of what I said or decided to ignore it.
A colour by numbers response- pathetic.
“Thank you for taking the time to get in touch with me, and I understand why you feel strongly about this issue. As you will have heard following the Budget, the changes relating to “premium” cars are viewed by the government as part of a broader set of reforms intended to maintain confidence in the Scheme. Alongside the Motability Foundation, we have outlined to government the economics of the Scheme and the impact these and other tax changes are likely to have on the Scheme and its customers.
Our role at Motability Operations is to deliver the best Scheme possible within the parameters set by the government and the Motability Foundation. The changes we have made to the availability of premium brands reflect those parameters. Please be assured that we will continue to do everything we can to minimise the impact on customers and to maintain as much choice as possible within the framework we are required to operate in.
We remain focused on ensuring the Scheme continues to meet the needs of disabled people and provides reliable, good-value mobility solutions. As the environment evolves, we will continue to work closely with the Motability Foundation and engage with government to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Scheme for all customers.
Thank you again for sharing your views and for your long-standing support for the Scheme.
Kind regards
Andrew
