I have lost trust in Motability. I paid for me, a high advance payment sure in the knowledge that provided I kept under a certain milage I would be able to extend the lease for a further 2 years. This has now been removed. No consultation. No warning. No it starts for new contracts from a certain date.
It seems it’s open season on the disabled. The one thing motability should have done, stand up for disabled rights. Well in my view they have rolled over and are awaiting for the next requirements from the government.
Max advance payments reduced probably, this reducing choice even more.
It may not be the end for motability. But it’s the end of the motability we all once knew.
