I would re-write the letter entirely.  It is personal, emotional, powerful…
But it has to be structured into clear sections, each section must has its headline, so a person who will skim through (NONE will ever read it) will grasp the key points very quickly.

    How Motability Works
Explain in bullet points how DWP works, what MO has to do, call out AP and especially – that there is a surplus of over £600M pa.

    The “Luxury Car” Myth
Again, in clear bullet points call out that Merc or BMW are very basic models as well as they have strong residual values. Again call out that taxpayers subsidise the luxury is a myth

    Impact on Disabled People
Misrepresentation fuels public hostility. Disabled drivers in ordinary cars face abuse in parking bays and online.
New rules introducing VAT and IPT will make many vehicles unaffordable, reducing choice and forcing people into unsuitable cars.
For those with serious mobility issues, losing access to features such as heated seats or automatic tailgates is not a “luxury” but a necessity.
The result is increased pain, isolation, and in some cases, despair.

    What I Ask of You

Clear and concise message with a “call for action” message – what do you want your MP to do:

Challenge misleading statements in Parliament and the press.
Press for accurate information from Motability rather than relying on Treasury spin.
Oppose changes that reduce disabled people’s access to suitable vehicles.

    Sent from a mobile device.
Apologies for briefness and spelling mistakes.
