I’m a former Labour Party member, resigned my membership earlier this year when they tried to cut PIP. I’m not a fan of Rachel Reeves, but I do feel there’s a hint of misogyny in the “Rachel from accounts” label. I don’t remember other chancellors getting labelled as much, despite catastrophic (very recent) budgets.
