My understanding the 14.2kW net battery size is the usable size, our Suzuki Across has a 18.1kW battery 14.3kW usable, if that is the case 55 EV miles seems achievable.

You might be right, as it has an electric motor on rear axle for AWD, like the Across/Rav4, which will be lighter than the conventional AWD setup on da Tucson. The other thing that needs to be taken in consideration, is Toyota have perfected hybrids 🙂
