I did see the irony in them being beside each other. If it was my money and assuming I couldn’t afford the GTLineS EV6, I’d be going for the IM6. I’m not interested in the dual motor variants, they are insane and I don’t want a car that would cheerfully put me in a tree given half a chance, although I hear it feels more planted than some other high powered EVs. The IM6 has a menu system you need a month to understand (but don’t all cars these days?) a rear view that makes the Ioniq 6 feel almost panoramic. It is, however, the most comfortable car I’ve sat in, the 20 speaker sound system is supposed to be unreal and I love the fact you can have Apple CarPlay on one screen and still be managing the vehicle thanks to that extra screen. However, I’d need a co-pilot as there’s no way I’d be driving and trying to do anything on that screen.
I’m praying these are added to scheme. I can order in November – want to get my hands on one
I order next November, I am half expecting it to join and leave the scheme before I get to order it.
