I have OVO charge anytime and have been offered an early change to the new ChargeAnytime – I will chose the & £59.50 per month tariff, which will cover me for charging to a guaranteed  350 kWh per month, and I can charge the car at ‘any time of the night or day’ to suit my requirements , & not have to charge only at selected times – eg I can charge mid day , at peak times for  0.17 p per kWh rather than a typical peak tariff of around 0.29 -30p per kWh (before a likely rise in October, ) so yes they have gone up, but are still lower than oVo’s  off peak tariff , and  almost half the price of the standard tariff..

I am not obsessing about range, and  my Ariya is averaging around 3.5 miles per kWh ( 140 mpg  equivalent- using  the ‘multiply by 40’ rule which gives me a quick, rough idea, for comparison to petrol and diesel powered cars ) without me constantly thinking about the Weather, temperature , carrying weight, eco settings , range  etc. – just by driving it normally, eg just arrived back from a 4 day visit to Cornwall,  500 mile round trip, fully loaded, , hardly  ever below  70mph on way down and back, with a/c on 3.2 miles  kWh for the whole trip recorded

electricity is just another fuel like petrol or diesel after all?

So , back on message, based on this  performance, I should get over 1000 miles a month for the flat fee. , which , frankly, will cover my monthly driving these days.

    Plus I get

MA Public charger voucher added to my OVO charge app.  Value £ 240 per annum for redemption  at public chargers which cost around 41- 89 p per kWh

Btw, If something better comes along there is no charge to exit
