@kezo I’ve just received an email from Hyundai regarding my BluLink subscription, which hopefully answers our questions. The upshot is that the car has 6 months PRO subscription (which was actually 14 months, as it doesn’t expire until October
), which switches to 3 years Plus subscription and 10 years Lite. For the avoidance of doubt, it goes on to say, in bold; Your period of complimentary Bluelink PRO service will expire in October, and will automatically switch to Bluelink PLUS.
Thanks for that.
I still have a T&C’s update to agree which I have ignored as it states moveing to Lite after the trial, which contradicts what you and their websites states, so will just go ahead and agree to the terms.
On another previous subject, mrs kezo and I have been paying close attention to the car’s bongs and can confirm by pressing the mute button for a few seconds to turn off speed limit function, the car does not chime at change of speed limit or does the speed sign in the display flash to warn I’m exceeding the limit. It only does these, if I forget to turn it off or haven’t pressed the mute button long enough for the banner at top of nav disaplay to show.
I keep forgetting sat nav locally, so havent been able to check that but will in next fortnight when visiting family.
