Having been redundant 3 times, and then being forced into an early retirement through ill health, I think I know how you must be feeling.
Help and a sympathetic ear do sometimes appear to be non existent, Government Departments , jobsworths etc pile on the agony, but there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and I have been happily retired now for 16 years , and those people are long forgotten .
