Had a test drive in a Hyundai Tucson Ultimate self charging hybrid this morning, I had the car for 3 hours. Very impressed, booked an appointment to order next week when our window opens. As for all of the ‘bongs’, the car gave 2 bongs and the speed sign on the dash and in the heads up display started flashing at just 1 mph above the limit, I pressed and held he steering wheel mounted mute button for 3 seconds, this turned off the bongs but the speed limit signes were still flashing. Further to that the car appeared to remember my setting in that after several restarts the bongs never happend again except for the speed change single ping. Maybe alterations have been made to the spec and just the flashing speed limit sign is enough to satisfy the rules. I also easily connected my iPhone via wireless car play and it worked perfectly, we’ll likely order pearl white with moon grey interior.

Now that’s interesting @Marc especially, as my thumb now has an imprint of the nurled volume/mute button😂 Like Glos-Guy , mine resets every time you restat the car even with the latest update. It could be as GG said you reduced speed or an update is coming🤞

In the UK, a flashing speed sign or the ability to turn “bing bong” off, is because we havent adopted the rule in it’s full potential from the EU thankfully.

You can also use voice control to turn off/on the speed limit warning, heated and ventilated seats and open and close windows, as well as window ventilation.
