As it says in my signature below – very unhappy with this car. Returned on mechanical grounds.
Weeks after we received the vehicle, excited, we drove to the Continent. In Germany suddenly the infotainment screen started flickering and then at some point died completely together with the small one. So we had to use mobile phone as a satnav etc. Once I have realised the pattern, when it occurred (my wife’s phone plugged in using the cable and my phone transmitting Google map to the infotainment system.
Then the EV charging didn’t open, then driver’s seat stopped sliding back when the car was off (one of the reasons we took the car, so I can conveniently get in and out). And very many other issues.
In my mind Mazda were too fast to bring their first PHEV to the market- they had to polish it more. I want to believe now it is much more reliable. We had Mazda 5, 3, and 323 (oh, yes!) and none ever saw a garage.
