Hi, does this car have “matrix” headlights? What does it mean, i just set lights to auto, does it mean the main beam comes on in dark areas then dims if it detects oncoming traffic, or do I have to flick stalk to main beam, like normal. The sales lady, did explain it, but it was a bit rushed and confusing. Cheers.
Headlights to “Auto” means it automatically turns on the dipped beams when it gets dark.
To activate the Matrix LEDs (and/or Auto High Beam), as you correctly identified, you push the stalk away from you. Gives you an Auto High Beam icon in the display, and yeah, it’s permanently on, just selectively turns off parts of the beams where it detects a car.
You can set in the infotainment at which speed you’d like the high beam to come on, i think as standard it’s set to 27mph or something, you can go lower.
