    Eactly my point, especially point 2!

    Regarding point 2, I bet if it were complained to the Ombudsman, Motability would be in breach of the data protection act!

    The Drive Smart app (if correct one) is owned by “DRIVE SMART INSURANCE S.L” where S.L referes to  “Sociedad Limitada,” which is a type of limited liability company, for small to medium businesses in Spain!

    Also, if your running a VPN on your phone, could become a problem, unless your provider uses something like split tunneling free of charge that lets you route the app through normal internet traffic.

    The other thing thats worrying is, if you are part way through the lease, Motability will still insist you have it, yet the contract mentions nothing about “drive smart”, so unless a new contract is sighned, which MO, isnt always quick in doing from past experiences such as lease extensions, you are not at liberty to have and intall it!

    Like I have saiD, if this becomes scheme wide they can have the car back simples!
