Better than yesterday, so far. Doing 23C now, sky shows signs of adhering to forecast and clearing of cloud. Reckon it’ll make 25/26C by late lunchtime.
Talking of watching flying stuff from garden, which we were, how about this beastie…

Snapped by Marg a couple of days ago on our Yew bush, this is a Jersey Tiger Moth. It is about 2cm wingspan so quite a large chap, looking larger because of the striking “Vulcan with Art Deco” camouflage colour scheme. Quite rare in mainland UK but observed to be colonizing Dorset and, recently, Sussex. The beast is actually poisonous – picking up toxins from its food which will create a nasty skin reaction in humans fooling enough to handle it.
