Went down to Bridlington in a friends Jag (E Pace I think) and after 2 and a bit hours I was really glad to get out of it!. I don’t do many trips that long, last one was Manchester Airport when I had the Ateca, that was OK.
The Enyaq, so far, I’ve not driven for over about 2 hours and again it’s pretty comfortable with no major issues. Looks like I’m driving to Glasgow and back in October, taking my daughter to see an Australian comedy Pod Cast/TV thing called “Aunty Donna”. That’ll be about 2+ hours each way so I’ll see how that goes!.
As for the Jag …. coming back the A171 was closed between Scarborough and Whitby so we were U-Turned back to Scarborough!, then across to Thirsk and up the A19 to Durham, a total of 4-1/2 hours!. Luckily we had a stop on the way so I could get out and recover a bit!, still completely bushed when I go thome though. Needless to say a Jag is not on my list of possible cars!
