Nice Joss – and the right choice!
There (all hybrids) often portrayed as diesel like economy, yet fall flat on their promise at highway speeds. Round town they can pay off, especially PHEV, but thats where the benefits stop. I went PHEV this time round as a trial based soley on taking my youngest (by far) daughter to and from school, which equates to 400 miles and on Octopus go, it costs just shy of £15, which works out less per month, than a weeks worth petrol in the previous car. Thankfully this offsets my nearly 400 mile month run. However, they are flawed outside that circle and I won’t be having another, plus my daughter will be soon 19 and finished school at end of this lease 🙂
Just goes to show the difference between different manufactures hybrid and PHEV systems, we are still happy with our Suzuki Across nearly 60 miles EV in the summer local driving plus 55 mpg on holiday with a depleted battery.
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
