I think that those who think that this will result in better deals for Motability customers will be disappointed. Motability Operations will have already negotiated discounts on EVs that are many times the value of this grant for private buyers, so I can’t see it making any difference whatsoever.
My understanding some of the Chinese companies have now reduced their list prices to match the Government grants
