so lets go with the most expensive ICE/MHD Tucson. Same price as the BMW

Believe the full hybrid is same AP as the mild hybrid, so thats a no brainer, but agree it has a phenomenal amount of kit and thoses ventilated seats are nicety in this weather 😉

Admittedly, only briefly checked the options under the Ultimate spec in the list – so that may very well be. Even better.

The point was, that for an iota of better “build quality”, you trade two truckloads of equipment, some of which are genuinely good options (be it Matrix LEDs, or vented seats etc – yeah HUD and such like are toys, but still).

And i bet the vented seats are nice, particularly in this weather. In the Golf, it’s swamp on my back, and Arctic on my chest currently, being frozen all around would be much preferable. Not made for this kind of weather. Wish the Explorer had those too, but alas.. It at least fits on the driveway, mostly (as opposed to the Ioniq 6).

But, yeah. I’m indifferent to Hyundai (and i do like quite a few BMW offerings), but it’s just, as mentioned, a no-brainer.
