@Kezo I thought they didn’t discharge at weekends either.
He’s very upset and angry, hates the food and having seen what they’ve been giving him I’m not surprised. The only decent meal he’s had was lunch today, roast beef dinner!. Tea was overcooked and dried out quiche (again) and some really awful looking burnt chips.
I spoke to my Dutch doctor friend who said they usually just take it out and have done with it but getting the infection sorted then sending him home to have to come back again is becoming more common.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
