@ianp You are quite correct. I do have some legal knowledge and therefore pointed out to Motability that a contract cannot be changed mid-term without both parties consenting to the change or, if it’s an imposed change, the customer has the right to terminate without penalty. Neither of these happened. Unfortunately most people won’t know the law and will just accept what Motability tell them, but it is well worth challenging. They agreed to a 2 year extension after my challenge but in the end we didn’t need it, but I was glad that I challenged them on principle.
