Yes Kezo I had them email me the other day asking if I’m sticking with the “bad installer” or moving to a new installer. The batteries are due in three weeks and it looks like I will be sticking with the “ bad installer”
I had another guy pricing the battery install and replacement of my FIT solar panels with new higher output panels.
the new guy looked at what I have installed just now and said I will be so close to the 100A fuse limit that I wouldn’t get G99 approval. Unfortunately the price he gave me for the battery install on its own was more than the “bad installer “ price so I will likely have no option but to stick with the original installer.
I called the DNO about whether or not my air source heat pump, 50kwh battery storage, 2No 8.8kw hybrid inverters, plug in hybrid car and 14kw worth of solar would take me to, or near, the max limit if the 100Amp fuse and of course they couldn’t comment and that I should put in a G99 form and they will assess it.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
