It was a chilly start (minus 4 degrees) this morning in the Yorkshire Dales, particularly at first light whilst dispatching a few deer. Oh well, the venison sausages will be nice eventually.
It has warmed up nicely now, currently 14 degrees.
It has been a perfect morning, have been out for 6 hours drilling spring barley.
Unfortunately am now relegated to the farm office for the rest of the day!
Hopefully we will get some rain at the weekend so we can spread slurry on the winter wheat.
