You can set the maximum charge level in the cars system.

I really can’t see the point especially in the Winter when the real world range drops so much, my 85X guess-ometer shows about 220 but in practice that’s about 180-190 miles..

I set mine to 100%, the battery and its systems have built in protection.

One other thing, check your charger is working correctly, the Ohme App went bonkers for mine last night, saying my battery was at 0% and started charging immediately, even though it said it was off peak I don’t think it was (as it was about 8pm when I plugged in).

Several others have reported the same or similar issues, Skoda have said they have never supported charging from other systems like Octopus, Ohme etc. and are blocking their access to the cars API (application programming interface) to stop them using it and force users to use their own interface.  Unfortunately Skoda’s (VW’s) software is fairly pants and is prone to errors and mulitple failures of the Skoda (VW) servers which prevents the system working.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
