I think the problem if you can call it that is that I’m the driver but not disabled so as long as I can get her there in one piece and the range problem she was not remotely interested in even when I told her that we visit my father in Aberdeen a few times a year and I pointed out that we would have to stop four or more times with a Berlingo and I was told repeatedly it’s for her daily needs not her wants which I disagreed with but don’t know how to open it up again. Definitely rude and very dismissive of everything I said, even when I told them that we had just written a car off due to skidding on mud on the road from agricultural machinery and that we’d tried a few different cars and the Sportsline seating and AWD were the best and cheapest solution.
I sent the dealer an email about the dashcam and am just waiting for a reply. To be honest, this Skoda experience has not been smooth at all, and their feedback is nil. It’s been worse when we tried the local dealer in Lincoln. I think if it wasn’t for the fact that we really, really liked the Enyaq, we’d have gone elsewhere, but there aren’t that many dealers in Lincolnshire.
