18 months ago I talked a friend in to getting a motability car as soon as he got his much fought for PIP. I said, what have you got to lose? You didn’t have the money before, so you won’t miss it. And instead of a 2010 card, you get a brand new one, especially automatic, with eveything paid for. Being also hybrid, he’d save on fuel, probably getting back his advance payment, along with new car bonus.
It took me one evening to talk him in to it, and then he was just so excited!
He based his colour choice on the availabilty, so ended up with just a 3 week wait.
Another person I knew, just took what was at the dealership, so virtually no wait.
My WAV took 9 months build schedule, then 3 months adapting schedule.
