With my old manual gearbox Tiguan I kept auto hold on all the time and found it incredibly useful. My new Volvo has an autobox and I find that the auto hold feature is more of a hindrance than a help so I have switched it off.
I am now in the habit of pressing the brake button when I’ve parked up when before I never interacted with it at all.
