Production model changeover is usually done around week 39 when the factory closes, the current 85 series Enyaqs were announced around April 2023 (if I recall correctly) then started arriving into the UK late November-early December 2023.
The press release confirming factory changeover to the 85 didn’t come out until September 23 and factory production commenced in November. New cars arrived in the UK in January. I got one of the first.
There was uproar from customers as the changes didn’t occur during the shut down as they had in the past.
I ordered an 80 and got an 85 as it was purely down to when your build week was and not when you ordered.
Order books for the facelift open January 9th in “some” EU markets according to the press release . Germany where taking orders for the 85 a month before the factory changed over.
With what is a minor facelift who knows as Skoda are not the best at communicating and their dealers are useless
