I’ll list the issues.
1. The car doesn’t have a key per se, so you have to wait for the car to wake up and activate during the wonderful British weather. I was aware of this before the purchase – but it’s comically bad at whether it works.
2. The lane assist is the dangerous part in which it can see phantom vehicles.
3. The entire display can be frozen mid journey and can’t be rectified without pulling over doing hardware button pressing on the steering wheel
4. The ‘key not found’ issue, is that the car will somehow lose track of the key or the card and simply not start, fixed by a reboot of the car.
5. Window wipers (this is a new one) window wipers did not work and I had to drive manually flipping the stick up and down (another issue. But nit a huge one)
6. One off issues = The app routinely fails to connect to the car, so you can’t precondition. Heating – this feels flight black magic, it’s impossible to get the cabin to a warm temperature until 20/30 mins. There is no way to rapidly heat the car, thus must be a limitation of battery cars.
i highly recommend visiting the ex30 subreddit and just watching the various issues. I’ll be very surprised if I have this car in 12 months, I’m not too fussed by all these issues because I suspect they are all software fixes. But they say death by a thousand cuts and this feels like it
