@kezo my new air source heat pump can “drink” electricity. There have been days, when really cold, that I’ve used 82kwh in a day to run the house so being able to fully charge then discharge each day is essential to make the figures work as I had assumed that 45kwh of storage would run my house even in the coldest days. I now know that isn’t the case so if the amount of energy I can get at cheap rates reduces even further it will really mess up my calculations. Not only for running the house but for selling back to the grid.
