I joined Octopus on a 12 month fixed tariff fo both elec and gas and was cheaper than their or any other suppliers standard tariff.
The good thing with Octopus, is you can move between tariffs ant no penalty and you are free to leave anytime you choose with no penalty, which is not offered by many suppliers.
This morning for example there was 2hrs of free electricity, which allows to to do the washing and drying free and this happens quite frequently – just sign up on the app for free electricity and they will email you when these events take place.
Overall Ive been happy and find them much better than BG nd EDF and their bills I find much easier to understand.
This week they are doing Pink Friday where you can get a free film, popcorn etc but, next Friday they are giving away 1000’s of pink octopussy’s, that would make a great stocking filler for a grandchild or even your wife. This is oontop of the free Gregs drinks etc you can get each day as standard.
