Speaking of batteries 🙁 Looks like my 12v battery is useless, for the last couple of weeks the App has been almost completely unuseable giving the usual “Battery protection” error message. Also noticed that when it does this the auto door locking/unlocking stops working as well as the door sensors so have to use the key fob. Couldn’t pre-heat the car this morning so just went out and it’s doing it again (did it 3 times when we parked up during last nights shopping trip with my son) this time I checked the 12v battery, it’s reading 11.85v 🙁
Our last Octavia had issue with the 12v battery from day 1, RAC replaced it after 2 months, the guy said it was a crap battery with not enough power for the car. 🤔
