Yes a battery pack is made from cells and modules but it’s also terminology used to describe anything generally that plugs in in a car. Could be an actual battery module could be an electronic module in relation to the battery until more info comes out no one will know. If it were a problem affecting one module I’d have expected it to affect more than one in each car seeing as the pack is made up of many of them logic suggests if it’s affecting numerous cars it’d be numerous or all the battery modules in the pack. It’ll be interesting to find put what it is and why.
Can remember specific modules failing in the Enyak 80 and the Id4… and module 9 is one that comes to mind. Depending on the Kwh there is 7,9 or 12 modules per pack 12s2p and 8s3p configeration for the lagest battery pack pack and each module contains 24 cells.
But, yes your correct, it culd be any module but, if it was anything else, I’d have expected them to said control module rather than specifically staing what they did.
