It could be a problematic install with added costs.
You would need a dedicated parking space, which your HA may be ok with. Crossing the path can be done. phaedra had a ‘Kerbo’ installed its a gully that crosses the pavement, I believe it was done by the Council and cost £300.
Its the distance from your door to the gate that may cause a problem. The chargepoint may need to be fixed to a post near the boundary.
Not all HA are problematic, some may do what they can to help you. Ask them.
