Unfortunately not Kezo although the heat pump is working really well so its not all bad news.
I must admit though there has been no plain sailing with this experience and its not just down to timing issues. At the start of the process with this company, and all the others, I made it clear I wanted my fuse box replaced as its decades old. My quote stated
Electrical Pack (including Upgraded Consumer Unit) £907.
I assumed this was the new fuse box, but no, they are saying they didn’t price a new fuse box, this is for a small unit that is for the air source heat pump and solar. They say they never intended replacing the existing fuse box. I have nothing in writing for this so its impossible to prove what I said but I know the owner, who I dealt with, knew I wanted a new fuse box as I spoke to home about how old it was and how it wasn’t up to code with no RCD. He is denying this so don’t think there’s much I can do.
I don’t know how much a replacement fuse box would cost but they are saying the very fact there is only £900 allowed for the work on the quote shows a new fuse box was never priced for.
Putting all that aside I am nearly there and of course I still have to pay him, or do I 🤔👎😂
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
