Even though thr wife has been in quite a lot of pain she went to the Drs to make an appointment only to be told sorry they are all taken and was told to ring at 8am to try and book one Rang 2 mornings on the trot at 8am kept in a queue then eventually told sorry all gone In desperation I filled in an online surgery consultation request form ( mouth full lol ) Waited 3 days for a reply only to be informed that someone will ring between 8/12 in 18 days time Says it all Suspect we need dedicated GPs/Consultants that do not have one foot in the private sector
Ours is similar in that you have to ring at 8am. But we rarely don’t get a same day appointment, even when we’ve been 29th in the queue, never heard it get higher than 29. You can also prebook for a week ahead, I’d do that if you are able and try again each day. If you get an appointment you can cancel the pre booked one.
