The ‘interesting’ or should I say cringeworthy release on this is actually on the Motability Operations business webite, packed with meaningless ‘management speak’ such as:

‘Infused’, ‘elevate the customer journey’, ‘customer touchpoints’ – what a load of meaningless horse poo! I wonder how many millions Motability Operations are paying their new ‘Brand Consultants’ (VCCP Group) for this drivel!
On a serious note though, it is clear they are trying to totally differentiate and move away Motability Operations Ltd from the Motability Foundation.
Reading between the lines, I wonder if this is the pre-cursor to the four banks that own Motability Operations Ltd selling Motability Operations Ltd off.
After all, the banks neither take, nor make, any capital or bond income from Motability Operations (which itself is a very profitable company), so is a ‘dead weight’ on the owing bank’s balance sheets.
Hence, why not spin it off the bank’s balance sheets and, in turn, leverage a large profit from the sale?
Whist it makes absolute sense from a business perspective, it may not necessarily from a customer perspective though!
