Continuing with my 24/7 heating trial so 21.5/22 *C during the day and 19*C overnight., with the radiator hot water set at 40*C. Its been close to freezing overnight on a couple of occasions but mostly quite mild day and night since I started.
Having smart meters fitted this week and my air source heat pump, solar and battery storage fitted early next month.
Once they are installed I will be running my heating via the heat pump, charging my batteries overnight on cheap electricity and running the heat pump from the batteries during the day. I’m expecting an efficiency of 300% so 3kw is produced for every 1kw that’s put in.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
