Absolutely nothing wrong with electric cars you’re far more likely to be hurt by the plastic fuel tank leaking or bursting in an ice car.
We’re already seeing alternate battery chemistries now too and probably only a few years away from batteries that can’t catch fire.
If you genuinely want to be educated on this stuff vs the BS you read in the media watch the Stop burning stuff campaign on Fully Charged.
Just FYI there have been 500 EV fire globally since 2010 making odds of the one anyone’s in 0.0012%
Hybrids are 115x more likely to catch fire than an EV
You’re landlords a fool then he gets a free charger installed on his property that adds to rentability in the future. Has he even been approached seeing as you’re not interested in electric I’d be surprised you’d even asked them put to most landlords carefully they’re usually very OK with it. Won’t be long before EV charger is on the same list as fast broadband when looking for a home. I suspect it won’t be long that if someone wants a charger landlord’s won’t be allowed to say no
My enyaq I do charge at home but I can fully recharge it at a rapid charger in 20 minutes if I’m going further than the 320 mile range. Without a charger theres still granny chargers to top one up no landlord permission required obv it’s slow but it works.
