I’ve seen posts about the time its taken to get smart meters fitted, mine are due next week having ordered them through Octopus energy two weeks ago.
They have estimated each meter will take roughly one hour to install🤞
The change to smart meters is part of my move to install an Air Source Heat Pump, battery storage and additional solar panels. This project has been ongoing for months and is not yet finalised as I await the ok from my DNO for the system I’m proposing. I’m not holding my breath as I am expecting an initial refusal of my proposal as the cabling in my area is very old and possibly not up to the amount of electricity I’m looking to return to the grid.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
